The Metro Area Mayors Committee
for People with Disabilities is committed to promoting equal opportunities.
The purpose of this website to provide the committee a course of action to
best communicate disability issues to individuals and groups in the metropolitan
area.
We contend that as a community, we must maintain an environment that is
respectful to the rights, dignity, and individuality of each member. This
website endeavors to serve as a key link between the Metro Area Mayors
Committee and the people of Fargo, Moorhead, West Fargo and Dilworth.
Mission Statement:
The Metro Area Mayors Committee
for People with Disabilities is to advocate for full acceptance
of people with disabilities by striving to eliminate environmental,
attitudinal and employment barriers.
